'My, but we really do become attached to our beliefs.' She exclaimed in amazement. 'They seem to hide behind each other. Not wanting to be discovered, just in case we evict them. Or do I beliefs become attached to us?'
S-H-E nodded her head kindly, in heartfelt knowing. 'It can seem that way. When we attach to a belief we give it energy, power and then that energy attaches to us. So, yes it works both ways. This is why it can seem almost impossible to release certain very strongly ingrained beliefs. The smaller 'I' really can struggle with letting go of its attachments. Even when it hears the encouraging voice of the larger 'I AM'. But the years and lifetimes of conditioning take immense patience and courage to relinquish. And it can be a painful experience at times. For it's a form of necessary self-destruction through transformation. And it can be especially challenging if one finally lets go only to discover another layer buried deeper beneath. It's at these times that trust, trust in the Self and commitment play enormous roles. And it's ok, in fact vital, to take a rest and assimilate the transformation at each stage or you will wear yourself out. Total destruction happens when the work on self is so incessant that the spirit eventually withers. This is not the aim. The aim is metamorphic transformation through dissolving (deep inner action); renewing (instilling new life affirming beliefs); and re-emerging (gracefully and confidently expressing your true essence, truth and light).' 'I've seen that by listening to the voice of the 'I AM', yet discerning the story and then the lesson within the voice of the 'I', I can find encouragement from within to choose a new way. Inspired by the strides I've made at each step, renews my sense of determination. Once I've tasted the freedom of the 'I AM', I am ready for even more.' S-H-E beams in joyful love, knowing that what is unfolding is deep nourishment for her too. 'I love you', she says quietly. 'I feel it.' She smiles with tears in her eyes. 'Change is so often a difficult choice for people.' She commented. 'But refusing to change is still a choice, not so?'
'Yes, in the broader sense of the word, it is still a choice.' S-H-E agreed. 'But refusal is also a prison; a prison that through fear of change people place themselves in. There are very subtle differences at play here. Choice, in my understanding, presents one with opportunities. However, refusal closes the door to opportunities, and hence to choice.' 'So, refusing to look at one's choices; refusing to change actually blocks opportunity.' She responded. 'It does.' S-H-E stated. 'For instance, if one is in a job or relationship that makes one unhappy, refusing to make a change imprisons one in that situation. Offering no obvious way out, hence no choice. However, if one chooses to stay for the time being, with the commitment to explore other alternatives at the same time - one then opens up opportunities for change. This then is a choice as it offers a way out.' 'I see what you mean.' She replied. 'Similarly, when one allows ones responsibilities to become a ball and chain, one closes the door on ones life, blocking opportunities. And ironically, often what's actually playing out is a lack of responsibility.' S-H-E continued. 'In other words, by using ones supposed responsibilities as an excuse for not changing, one is in fact avoiding taking responsibility for ones own life. The wounding is around responsibility and it is then playing itself out in distortions of true responsibility. For only when one takes full responsibility for ones own life, is it possible to act in a responsible manner to others.' 'That makes so much sense.' She answered. 'Refusing to change when things are not beneficial to the self also blocks one to ones potential.' 'Exactly! S-H-E smiled. 'Everyone has limitless potential. But if one chooses to stay stuck in a limiting 'place' through fear of change, one will never realize ones true abilities, nor experience the fullness of life.' 'Why are humans so fearful of change?' she asked. 'It's your programming.' S-H-E answered with kindness. 'The fight or flight response is over-active in your society today. For you see your world as a hostile place. Yet one is constantly attempting to suppress ones fears. And the more one suppresses them, the stronger they become. Facing a fear is the only way of conquering it.' 'I've noticed that in my own life.' She admitted. 'When I finally face something I've been fearful of and have resisted until that moment, it seems to lose it's power. I am then often astounded at how quickly the fear dissipates.' 'Precisely.' S-H-E added. 'Much of the fear is perceived fear. A mind-based construct one has created around the issue. When one faces it - truly faces it - those constructs fall away and one is then left with only the core, which in itself is not as great a hurdle as the mind seduced you into believing.' 'Change is freeing - liberating!' She stated confidently. 'It most definitely is.' S-H-E answered encouragingly. 'It is the key to an extraordinary life!' - Kim Dreyer - © 'Conversations with S-H-E' www.kimdreyerart.com © Artwork from my Visions of the Soul Meditation and Portal Deck. "At times, especially over the past month, it's felt as if the flow has become a turbulent series of rapids." She exclaimed.
"That is so." S-H-E said with great compassion. "Many are feeling this in varying degrees and on various levels. These are times of immense change, and immense change often expresses itself in turbulent ways. As the law of perpetual transmutation of energy states, everything is in a state of constant flux. These changes exist on all levels, some seen, some unseen. What may seem like 'negative' experiences on the physical level is often beneficial on another level." "I do feel as if it's all part of the healing process, but it's really challenging at times." She replied. "Let go of the need for outcome." S-H-E suggested lovingly. Knowing the energy of these changing times can be quite harsh on the sensitive human energy field. "Releasing, integrating and healing does not have a finite end. As you go deeper into the process, the intensity will increase. As you commit to each level of processing and healing and you align more to the energies coming through, you're going to need time to acclimatize. Think of the water flowing in a river. You may enter the flow at a calm, shallow spot. There may be gentle curves, clear expanses and the occasional sand bank. The going is fairly easy. But further along the river are rapids and eventually a waterfall. As you get closer to the rapids, the flow of the water speeds up. In the rapids you may find areas where you have chosen the right passage and although it's intense and fast, you flow through with relative grace. However, you may at times simply be tossed and turned through a really rocky section, surfacing on the other side with a few bumps and bruises. Unsure of how you got through or where you are. Still, the closer you get to the waterfall, the faster everything happens. You begin to feel out of control. But there is no way of controlling things, for you've passed the point of no return. You reach the waterfall and all you can do is trust. Trust that your landing will be in a calm, peaceful pool at the base of the waterfall. And as you tumble over the edge, you surrender. And in that surrendering, you become someone bigger, braver, newer! And the person who finally splashes into the deep, cool, peaceful pool at the base of the waterfall is not the same person who stepped into the quiet stream at the start of the journey." "That truly is how it feels at times." She replied with some relief. "Though I don't think I've reached the next waterfall yet. That analogy really helps put things in perspective." "In life, there are many rapids and waterfalls, as are there many quiet, meandering streams." S-H-E said. "If you look back at your life, you may just recall some of them. But that is the experience you call life. You will traverse many rivers, each offering a gift of healing, learning and growing - evolving. When things get really tough, it's ok to swim to the bank of the river, or a rock and take a short time out to catch your breath. But you will need to return to the river and continue with it's course downstream. For trying to swim upstream again will get you nowhere." "Thank you." She said quietly. "I think I'll just sit on the grassy bank for a while and catch my breath." "You do that dear soul." S-H-E replied lovingly. "I am here with you, now and always." - Kim Dreyer - © 'Conversations with S-H-E' www.kimdreyerart.com © Artwork from my Conscious Spirit Oracle Deck. 'There is so much information out there, in this, the digital age.' she observed. 'It can be confusing to determine within it all, what aligns to each of our own personal paths. And as more and more people share their experiences and journeys, it can become very easy to be more overcritical of oneself. Especially if one perceives other peoples journeys as having 'progressed more' than one's own.'
'That is definitely the case.' S-H-E agreed. 'But there is a way of turning the inner critic into something more beneficial. I know you are discovering this way and implementing it more.' 'It's all about embodiment. Isn't it?' she answered. 'Yes.' S-H-E continued. 'Your body can be used as a finely tuned gauge when you are more fully tuned in to it and trust it. The inner critic becomes the outer critic if not attended to. But even then, the outer critic isn't necessarily all that bad if one brings awareness to it. The key is to bring awareness to the criticism through sensing it in the body when it happens; recognize how it makes you feel; accept and acknowledge the ways it's inhibited your true expression of self through feeling these ways in the body; and then begin to re-train it into accepting a new belief that is more in alignment with your true essence until this new belief is felt within the body. Old non-beneficial beliefs are often born of fear. And when one senses even a small energy of fear within a belief, one knows that it is not in alignment with your Soul essence.' 'I've definitely found this with certain aspects of self.' She replied. 'The inner critic flows out into the world and becomes the outer critic of what one sees and experiences. When I am aware of this, I bring that which I am criticizing back into self and then look at aspects of the self that bring about those criticisms. For instance. I'm really hard on myself when it comes to my skills as an artist. Always believing that I'm not good enough yet. When I see myself beginning to criticize others in the same way I look back into myself and try to see where those feelings for self arose from. I've had many teachers in the past whose teaching methods used negative criticism in order to try to get their students to do better. Perhaps some of that rubbed off the wrong way. In other ways I believed that being abandoned at birth also made me feel that I wasn't good enough. Even times when I've looked back on a situation and criticized myself for not being loving enough, patient enough, or whatever it might be - through the inner work I understand that those feelings are at times lacking for self. I then look at ways to adjust those inner beliefs so that I may show more love or patience to myself in order to express it to others.' 'And what have you found?' S-H-E asked with great compassion. 'That it's all merely a strong belief I've attached to, which can be believed 'real' or 'false' - experienced or simply imagined. Either way it's perceived as true.' She continued. 'When I see it as that, I then begin to build and strengthen the opposite belief in myself. Though first I draw out all the ways that that particular belief has played out in my life - without criticism, only with love and compassion. Then I begin to re-program it. Usually through the same voice that is the critic - my inner voice. I coach it to say that I am good enough in this moment - in every moment until I can feel it in my body. Sometimes it takes longer than other times. It often needs days, even weeks of repeating this exercise before I truly feel it in my body. Until I em-body it fully!! When I can feel it, then I can believe it.' 'The em-bodiment of a belief is what anchors it into your energy field.' S-H-E replied. 'Whether it is a thought, a belief or an emotion, when we feel it strongly rooted within our body, that physical feeling evolves into knowing and then it becomes your reality.' 'It's becoming so clear to me, to see how the inner reality becomes our outer reality.' She replied. 'But it does require great awareness, patience and self love to shift the non-beneficial inner beliefs in order to alter our outer reality. The simplicity of it is incredible - embody self love and you will be able to express love to others in the world; embody confidence and that confidence will touch others, inviting them to express confidence within themselves too.' 'It is simple, yet the complexity of it must not be underestimated.' S-H-E answered with gentleness. 'It is the nature of the physical world. That which one em-bodies is that which one experiences. And through each experience, the em-bodiment of it is anchored deeper still within your entire being. Therefore, the importance of inner work cannot be underestimated.' 'It's a constant re-checking in.' She replied. 'For it is so easy to em-body non-beneficial beliefs without being aware of it at the time.' 'It is.' S-H-E agreed. 'But things are changing and the more aware one is of these inner mechanisms and the more one practices the inner work, the easier it becomes to re-adjust before they become entrenched within the physical and energetic being.' 'The inner work brings us closer to our Soul consciousness too, doesn't it.' She answered with joy. 'It most definitely does.' S-H-E smiled lovingly. - Kim Dreyer - © 'Conversations with S-H-E' www.kimdreyerart.com © Artwork from my Conscious Spirit Oracle Deck 'We're doing too much when we're out in Nature, aren't we.' She exclaimed.
'You most definitely are.' S-H-E replied in agreement. 'Humans have become so Doing oriented, that most are unable to simply Be, to become fully present in Nature. Many feel they are connecting to Nature during their times of Doing in Nature, but in actual fact it is often a very tenuous, short-lived connection which can often be based on judging and intellectualizing the environment they're in. There is still a strong mental drive to know, understand and label things when people are out in Nature. And while this is fine in an academic situation, to fully connect to Nature on a metaphysical level one has to simply Be One with Nature! Be in a non-doing state of stillness. Not name, assess, analyze or understand; not do, think or expect. Simply see, feel and experience! Though action is also vital to reverse damage create by humans, even those involved in these necessary tasks in Nature also need to take time out to simply be still with the environments they are so diligently working with.' 'I noticed on a recent retreat.' she commented. 'Those who were the quietest and most present, made the deepest connections. Nature doesn't hurry - She takes the necessary time needed for everything. When we're hurrying or constantly doing in Nature, we are unable to connect to Her completely. We aren't able to flow with Nature.' 'Precisely.' S-H-E continued, 'To connect to Nature you have to connect in Her time, on Her terms. There is no other way. Nature's frequency is 'Being'. Humans cannot find resonance with this frequency when they are in the frequency of doing. One has to submit to the frequency of Being to align to Mother Nature. Be one with your Soul and you'll be one with Nature. A tree does not think about how it should be a tree, or what it is called or what it needs to do next. It is simply Being a tree.' 'I don't like the word 'mindful'. So I prefer to say we need to be 'consciously open' when we're in Nature.' She stated. 'By this I mean that we need to have no preconceived ideas, expectations or beliefs, other than to open ourselves up to fully integrate our energy, our essence to that of Nature's.' 'That is the way.' S-H-E agreed. 'It is humans who have to return to Nature, not Nature return to humans. For She has never left you, it is you who have left Her. You have to return home to her in order to find peace, harmony, balance and love and in so doing find the healing you all seek.' 'Every step we take in re-awakening this connection to ourselves and in assisting others to do the same, opens us to the beauty and wonder within Nature and within ourselves!' she exclaimed eagerly. "I've experienced this and had further glimpses of this and it's exhilarating!' 'Yes!' S-H-E replied joyfully. 'You cannot begin to understand the beauty and wonders awaiting you! For through this deep connection, the full, true experience of life in all it's abundance and miracles awaits you! When you are fully connected to Nature, you are fully connected to Life!' - Kim Dreyer - 'Conversations with S-H-E.' www.kimdreyerart.com © Artwork from my Conscious Spirit Oracle Deck 'Do you think I'm being insensitive?' she ask during one of their conversations.
'What do you feel?' S-H-E replied. 'I think some people might perceive it as insensitivity.' She continued. 'But it really isn't. If I know or have heard someone's story and they keep repeating it, to me, to others, I can actually see the energy loop they're tying themselves up in. It becomes a persona they take on. Each time it becomes more tightly bound, strangling their energy field.' 'Many can't see or sense this. If they could they wouldn't do this.' S-H-E stated with compassion. 'People are told they need to talk about their problems. And there is a time and place for that. But there is a fine line between talking about them to accept and recognize in order to release, versus reattaching and reinforcing the story deeper into your energy field. What would you feel is a more helpful approach?' 'I want to find, to get to know the person beyond the story.' she said. 'The story is not them! Not who they truly are. The story hides their true selves. We've become so engulfed in our stories that we loose sight of who we really are. When we can see ourselves and others past those stories, we find the key to releasing all that masks that deeper Self. I truly believe if we can guide each other to catch even a small glimpse of that true Self, we'll begin to uncover our own answers to self-healing.' 'That is a far more beneficial approach.' S-H-E smiled. 'For it is a persons deeper, true Self who is the catalyst to healing, to growth and to awakening. Not the healer or 'guru'. A true 'healer' simply awakens one to one's own inner medicine man/woman. Show a person even just a fraction of their true selves and that Self will assist in bringing about great transformation and rebirth within the individual.' 'All we need really is within!' She commented. 'It is,' S-H-E replied, 'and so much more!' - Kim Dreyer www.kimdreyerart.com © Artwork from my Conscious Spirit Oracle Deck "I feel so much more in my strength!" She exclaimed with joy.
S-H-E beamed with happiness for her. Understanding the wisdom the past experience had brought into her being. "We often feel a lack of confidence or a lack of inner strength when it comes to stepping up and out into the world. Especially if we tend to be on the shy more introverted spectrum." She continued. "And what is your understanding now?" S-H-E asked knowingly. "Well," she said, "the very act of stepping up and out is strengthening and confidence building. The thing we fear is the thing that empowers us the most if we face it!" "Exactly!" S-H-E exclaimed. "Let go of the insecurities. Or simply put them to one side. For on the other side of these, your power and strength exists. The nature of duality is thus - by experiencing the one, you know the other. However, by staying attached to only the one, prevents one from fully experiencing the other. Both have to be experienced on all levels, not just known or understood on a mental level, for true wisdom to occur." "It's so simple!" She laughed, "Yet we hang on to our insecurities as if our lives depend on them!" "Humans are learning quicker now." S-H-E points out. "As each of you reach your own unique levels of awareness, so does the path for others to experience their own, open up even more." "Life truly is incredible!" She exclaimed with joy. S-H-E smiled lovingly, "It most definitely is!" - Kim Dreyer www.kimdreyerart.com © Artwork from my Conscious Spirit Oracle Deck "Some things are really difficult to let go of, even though they cause discomfort or pain." She commented. "Even when one acknowledges the need to change - one resists it."
"Yes," S-H-E answered with great compassion. "The familiar comfort of known discomfort is sometimes more bearable than the unfamiliar discomfort of unknown comfort." She smiled and nodded in agreement from personal experience. "When experiences that causes you pain or suffering are constantly repeating in your life, they are offering you an opportunity to choose a new way. The pain and suffering is reminding you that by choosing to continue in the same way, making the same choices, you will remain in the cycle of pain and suffering." S-H-E continued. "Often the perceived safety of the familiar feels less threatening than change. However, it's important to understand that clinging to the old painful ways simply instils within one an even greater fear of change. And the longer you cling on, the more fearful you'll become of change. And the more fearful you become, the harder it becomes to let go. AND that fear attracts more of that which causes suffering." "People are often also fearful of isolation, if they make big changes in their lives." She said. "That can happen. And usually it is temporary. But clinging to the pain and suffering can also isolate you from family and friends too." S-H-E answered. "When change beckons, you step on the precipice alone. Only you can do it! For it is only through trusting the Self, that your step into the unknown will be aligned to your highest good. You may or may not have family and friends who support you in your new choices. Irrespective of this, that leap of trust is yours alone to take. YOU have to want it heart and soul! And what often happens is that when you make those changes, you begin to forge deeper and more meaningful relationships with family and friends. Once others feel the shift in your energy, they feel attracted to your new and more vibrant energy. For as you let go of the pain and suffering, your energy body becomes lighter and you attract others whose energy is also lighter." "Like attracts like. Or should I say - light attracts light." She smiles. S-H-E smiles lovingly back. "So true. Such a powerful motivation to make the necessary changes in ones life!" - Kim Dreyer www.kimdreyerart.com © Artwork from my Conscious Spirit Oracle Deck "Our last discussion has inspired so much insight!" she exclaimed happily. "I can see now that it's more important to live a purposeful life than to live a life following a specific purpose. We need to 'live 'on purpose', don't we?"
"That's exactly what our discussions are meant to do." S-H-E smiled knowingly. "And yes, it's exactly that! Living on purpose is when everything you do is meaningful. And not necessarily meaningful to others, but to you! For as you live your life with pure intention and deep meaning, you will affect not only yourself but all those whose lives you touch in a beneficial way. What is meaningful to you will also be meaningful to others in some way or another. Humans are so goal driven and finding your purpose often becomes the spiritual equivalent of goal chasing." "So are you saying we should let go of the need to define and know our destination, not be concerned about our purpose?" she asked. "Yes!" S-H-E replied, "This Earthly life is all about the experience - the journey or adventure. Not a journey with a start and an end, but a journey of discovery and participation. Focussing on the destination usually only succeeds in distracting one from the present and prevents one from fully experiencing the journey in each moment. And if one does have the need to set a goal - don't be so fixated on the end goal, but rather, allow the journey to shift and shape the goal into something greater than you had ever imagined. " "When we're only focussed on the end goal, that's when we behave like automatons, isn't it." she observed. "Precisely." S-H-E answered. "The destination is never fixed in stone. In fact, when it is, one is simply on automatic pilot. Then when a more beneficial 'route' appears, one ignores it because it's not in the 'program' one has set one's automatic pilot to. You have to keep that automatic switch off and allow yourself to experience the journey - every part of it. With all it's surprises, vistas, scenic routes, wonders and miracles as well as it's stops, detours, traffic jams and breakdowns. For then you will truly experience life as you're meant to. Fully engaged and aware - participant and co-creator. And life will be filled with meaning and purpose!" "This life really is magnificent!" she stated, "What a joy and privilege to participate and co-create within it!" - Kim Dreyer www.kimdreyerart.com © Artwork from my Visions of the Soul Meditation and Portal Deck "So many people I speak to seem lost or are searching for something." she said. "Even myself at times. One moment I feel content and on the right path, and then I feel there is something just outside of my grasp that I'm not quite touching on yet. It seems as if our human condition is constantly shrouded by a deep searching for that something. Yet we don't always know what it is we are truly searching for. So we hunt the internet, read books, attend courses and have discussions with like-minded people, hoping we'll find the answers there."
"The act of searching in itself is not the problem. It's how you search that either creates a void or a sense of meaning. When an individual is focused on outward searching, that is when a greater sense of loss and hopelessness sets in. Blindly attending every course, reading every book, believing everyone's ideas usually creates more confusion than anything else. Discernment, through intuition, is the key. When do you feel closer to finding what you seek?" S-H-E asked. She didn't need to give the answer much thought, "Mostly when I'm doing what I call 'Soul Searching.'" she replied. "Though occasionally when something I've read or heard strikes some kind of an accord with me. Which then stimulates a new thought or understanding from within. But it always seems to come back to what's within." "Exactly" S-H-E answered. "That something you seek is meaning or purpose to your life. And that can only be found within. Your senses are tuned to this inner wisdom, but one often dulls these senses from too much external stimulation. Knowledge in the form of books, courses and discussions can nudge you in a direction of Self seeking which you perhaps would not have otherwise come up with by yourself. However, these are simply direction pointers, and can be confusing, unless you constantly check within to determine your own choices and see whether these pointers are guiding you towards or away from the path of your highest good. It's like being lost on a narrow path in a dense forest and coming to a fork in the path you're walking on. Both paths, to the left and to the right, look exactly the same and you cannot see the end of the paths. What do you rely upon to chose the direction you'll take?" "I'd choose the one that feels right." she answered. "Good!" S-H-E said. "As long as one applies that method of choice to your search for meaning in your life, it won't lead you astray." "You're absolutely right as always", she smiled lovingly, "Every time I make a decision based on what intuitively feels right for me, things flow into place and I feel I'm moving in the right direction in my life. However, if at times I doubt myself, and stop listening to my inner voice and listen to other's opinions or over-think things, I seem make choices that take me in the wrong direction. In fact it seems then as if I'm going backwards. But the more I practice following my own guidance, these times of 'going backwards' seem to be happening less and less." "When you trust yourself, your inner voice, your inner guide you're on the unique path that is yours and no-one else's. Everyone needs to find their own path in order to find meaning in their lives. It's as simple, yet as complex as that. Don't doubt yourself. No matter what others say or think." - Kim Dreyer www.kimdreyerart.com © Artwork from my Visions of the Soul Meditation and Portal Deck |

Conversations with S-H-E begun early 2018 when S-H-E appeared first in a visionary dream state and then more frequently in meditations and dreams since then. 'Her' name - S-H-E - embodies the essence both SHE and HE; multidimensional states of consciousness between Spirit/Heaven/Earth; Yin-yang and All that is. ArchivesCategories |
